There is Huge Gap Between Academics and Industry-Dr.Batra

Haridwar. S.M.J.N (PG) College today organised a career counselling seminar for students with the help of career counselling cell and IQAC of college.

In the Seminar important tips for enhancing their career path were given to the Students.

Addressing the seminar principal of the college Dr S K Batra has said that there is a huge gap between academics and industry,

to bridge that gap he underlined that these seminars are of atmost important

He said that sometimes academic activities are not enough to fill the bridge the gap between industry and academics,

thus these seminars are required to meet latest demands of market .

He praised students for their enthusiasm for seminar.

Key note speaker of the seminar Mr Brijesh Sinha the market strategist and consultancy specialist,

said that good interview is key to success and aspirints need to take cognition of ABC concept .

A means appearance , B means body language ,

and C means confidence. Aspirants need to bother about ABC in interview.

Seminar was anchored by Assistant Professor Vinay Thapliyal who also called students to prepare for

compatetive exams as well as they should inculcated habit of saving and investing for financial freedom.

Seminar was concluded by Dr. Sanjay Maheshwari Dean student walfare and coordinator

IQAC, by motivating students for progress in their respective chosen field.
