Dehradun: Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions organized an online session for students and faculty members on mental health and coping strategies during COVID-19.
This event was organized by the Dev Bhoomi Institute of Nursing where each and every student and member of faculties participated.
The central idea behind this online session was to make aware about the mental issues and
further create awareness as to how to deal with negativity which is currently engulfing the entire nation.
The Guest Speaker for the online session was Dr. Mahendra Kumar Pant who is currently
Professor and Head of Department of Anatomy and Consultant Psychiatrist in Government Doon Medical College,Dehradun.
He shared his knowledge and his experiences with students and faculty members and advised different ways to practice for creating positivity among us.
The entire session was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) R.K Tripathi. He not only motivated
students and faculty members but also shared his viewpoints on the topic.
He emphasized on the importance of mental health for a new dimension of teaching-learning process through online mode.
He motivated the students for good physical care and also expressed positive aspects towards life.
Due to the efforts of Prof. Tripathi, there were more than a thousand participants who benefited with this activity.
The entire activity was coordinated by Dr. Mehvish Khalid, Principal, Dev Bhoomi Institute of Nursing.
